Filmmaking resources we'd like to share with you.
Every independent filmmaker should become a member. One of the best resources on and off the web. They
offer their own festival, networking events, classes, screenings, discounts on products and services from various companies,
free legal consultation, grants, fiscal sponsorship programs, and residencies.
Not the festival, but one of the many filmmaking labs they offer. Very competitive, but worth applying
to. Will help get your project on it's feet creatively and in other ways. The rest of the site has some other great resources.
One of our favorite filmmaking magazines, online and off. Check out the archives!
No filmmaker should begin fundraising without a lawyer, and no filmmaker should see a lawyer without visiting this site first.
This is THE starting place for learning what questions to ask, and how to get the most out of your lawyer through all stages
of filmmaking, from fundraising through distribution.
One of the best entertainment lawyers in Northern California. A perfect fit for producers of low-budget projects funded by
private investors.
If you are at all interested in achieving good audio on your film, you MUST visit this site and read the articles on production
sound.

Another great artist. Songs are rarely this much fun.
A song or two from their "Spirt of Christmas" album will be featured in the film.
This site will put you in contact with Evan Greenspan, the man helping us get the soundtrack we want.
Not really a supporter, but we had to list them somewhere. In our opinion, the best CLEAN humor on the net.

The art of film.
Check out his essays in the "For Artists Only" menu. While we don't agree with ALL of his views on art, we definitely
feel you should read them and take them into consideration. Process them however you wish.
Making his home at Rolling Stone, the Hollywood critic with whom we agree the most - despite the fact that he uses a rating
system. Search the archives for any of about 13,000 titles.
